Graceful Chinese black lacquer 3-drawered table with inlay and carved hardstone and mother-of-pearl figurines of ladies, circa 1940. 
 
The elegant oval shape with rounded drawers is less common and shows off the lovely craftsmanship. Traditional Chinese scenery is hand painted on black lacquered wood with carved dancing maidens.
 
The three drawers feature carved figurines of Shaolin monks and rocks.
